Cloud Engineer / Architect (80% – 100%)

Responsibilities

• Designing cloud architectures
• Implementing and automating infrastructure
• Building and operating CI/CD pipelines
• Migrating existing systems to the cloud
• Consulting and training for clients
• Evaluating new technologies and innovations

Qualifications

• Strong interest in modern and innovative technologies
• In-depth knowledge of at least one of the following cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)
• Experience setting up IT infrastructure with IaC technologies (Terraform, Pulumi)
• Experience operationalising and containerising applications (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, etc.)
• Experience programming in Python, Java or comparable languages
• Confident use of version control systems (e.g. Git) and code review processes
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) and observability concepts
• Basic knowledge of cloud security concepts (e.g. IAM, network segmentation, encryption)
• Certifications in one of the common cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure) are an advantage
