Sustainability Policy of Codify AG

Purpose and Scope

Codify AG is committed to responsible and sustainable corporate governance. This policy describes the principles by which Codify AG integrates environmental, social and ethical responsibility into its business activities. It applies to all employees of Codify AG at the Kreuzlingen and Basel locations, as well as to all business activities of the company. Codify AG expects business partners and suppliers to comply with equivalent principles.

Principles

Codify AG conducts its activities according to the following principles:

• Compliance with applicable laws, regulations and recognised standards.
• Conservation of natural resources and continuous improvement of environmental performance.
• Fair, safe and health-promoting working conditions.
• Integrity, transparency and fair competition in business dealings.
• Continuous improvement within the framework of the management system.

Environment

Codify AG operates a certified environmental management system in accordance with ISO 14001 and continuously improves its environmental performance. Key priorities are the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, the procurement of renewable energy at its locations, the reduction of business travel in favour of digital collaboration, and the resource-efficient operation of cloud infrastructure. Codify AG takes energy efficiency and resource consumption into account in the design and operation of the solutions it develops.

Employees and Social Responsibility

Codify AG provides safe, health-promoting and fair working conditions. It promotes equal opportunity and diversity, ensures equal pay for women and men, and invests in the professional and personal development of its employees. Discrimination, harassment and any form of forced or child labour are not tolerated.

Business Ethics and Governance

Codify AG acts with integrity and in compliance with the law. It rejects corruption, bribery and anti-competitive conduct, and protects the confidentiality and security of information on the basis of its ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certifications. Conflicts of interest are disclosed and avoided.

Supply Chain and Business Partners

When selecting its suppliers and business partners, Codify AG also takes sustainability aspects into account and expects them to comply with the following minimum standards, based on Article 12 of the Intercantonal Agreement on Public Procurement (IVöB):

• Occupational health and safety.
• Fair working conditions and compliance with labour legislation.
• Equal pay for women and men.
• Compliance with environmental law.

Codify AG periodically reviews social and environmental risks in its supply chain and addresses any deviations identified with the partners concerned.

Implementation, Responsibility and Review

The management of Codify AG bears overall responsibility for this policy. The principles are embedded in internal processes, communicated to employees, and regularly reviewed and further developed within the framework of the management system. Indications of violations can be raised through the internal reporting channels.

Publication and Validity

This policy is publicly available and published on the Codify AG website. It enters into force upon approval by the management and is reviewed at least annually.
